Job summary

Applied Intuition Defence in London is seeking a Robotics Software Engineer to develop and validate autonomy software across defense platforms. You will work on mission behavior, navigation, and decision-making logic, integrating with embedded Linux hardware and sensors, and performing live testing.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust autonomy solutions, including SIL/HIL evaluations and demonstrations on customer sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in robotics, CS or related field.
• 3+ years hands-on robotics experience with hardware and software.
• Experience with C++, autonomy behavior, and navigation algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and adapt mission behavior and decision logic for defense platforms.
• Design modular autonomy capabilities reusable across vehicle types.
• Integrate and deploy autonomy on embedded Linux hardware and sensors.
• Perform SIL/HIL evaluations and live testing with UAVs where applicable.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust autonomy solutions.
