Page Personnel is recruiting a Software Development Manager for a UK Retailer in Doncaster. The role is hybrid with three days on site and will involve leading a 10-person development team to deliver high-quality software solutions and manage the full delivery lifecycle.

You will oversee planning, execution and successful delivery of projects, drive improvements in ways of working, and mentor team members to grow capabilities while collaborating with stakeholders across the business.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and developing teams.
• 3-5 years' management experience.
• Strong understanding of software delivery, workflow management, prioritisation and managing competing demands based on risk, impact and urgency.
• Experience managing budgets, costs, resources and supplier relationships within an IT environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and build trusted relationships across the business.
• Ability to manage challenging situations, negotiate effectively and resolve conflicts.
• Experience developing talent, identifying skills gaps and supporting recruitment, succession planning and team capability.
• Ideally come from a Software Development background and progressed into management.

Our client is a UK Retailer and they are looking to hire a Software Development Manager to look after their internal team of 10 developers. This is a hybrid role with 3 days on site in Doncaster - although initially you would want to spend more time on site to get to know your team and the wider business.
