Job summary

Optamor is seeking a Software Configuration Analyst to maintain configuration of IT-based processing systems and automate deployments across a large mixed-OS estate. You will validate configurations, deploy customer data files, and coordinate software releases with internal and external teams.

The role requires strong Unix/Linux and Windows expertise, experience with Ansible/Jenkins/other tools, and a proactive approach to incident and change management. 6 months contract, inside IR35, Havant.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Unix/Linux and Windows systems.
• Experience deploying software to large mixed estates.
• Proven use of enterprise management tools.
• Experience with scripting languages and automation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain system configuration files across targets using scripting and deployment tools.
• Deploy and validate 30+ types of customer data files across 30–500 targets.
• Maintain I&T and production environments and coordinate releases.
• Monitor applications, analyze performance, and troubleshoot issues.
• Support development, integration, and agile sprint deployments.
• Coordinate with customer and internal teams on configurations and releases.
