Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers Ltd is seeking a Software Configuration Analyst for a 6-month contract (inside IR35) in Havant. The role focuses on maintaining IT-based processing systems, deploying and configuring software across a large, mixed-OS environment, with 37.5 hours per week over a four-day pattern (Monday to Thursday).

Reporting to the Sustainment Service Desk Manager and LMSOC Technical Manager, you will automate deployments, manage configuration files for 2,000+ targets, and support

Qualifications

• Strong background in Unix/Linux and Windows systems.
• Proven deployment experience in large mixed estates.
• Experience with IT infrastructure tooling and service management.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash or Perl.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain system configuration files across 2,000+ targets.
• Process and deploy 30+ types of customer data files to 30–500 targets.
• Maintain I&T and production environments with accurate deployments.
• Monitor applications, analyze trends, and troubleshoot issues.
• Support development activities including defect management and agile releases.
• Coordinate with customers and technical teams to validate configurations.
• Provide on-call support when required.
