Wye Valley NHS Trust in Herefordshire seeks a courteous, efficient cleaner to provide a high standard of cleaning across trust sites. You will use approved materials and equipment, follow COSHH regulations, and maintain a safe, professional approach to patients, staff and visitors.

You will report to supervisors, undertake ad-hoc cleaning duties as required, and travel between sites as needed. Strong communication with colleagues and suppliers is important to ensure consistent, high-quality

To provide a courteous efficient cleaning service within the trust. Use and care of approved cleaning materials and equipment at all times in accordance with the operator instructions. Ensure that all equipment and materials are used and stored safely in compliance with COSHH regulations. Undertake all cleaning duties in a safe manner using hazard signs as appropriate To project a friendly and professional attitude to all patients, staff and visitors and to demonstrate product knowledge when enquires are made. Ensure that communication channels are maintained between appropriate staff / suppliers / contractors /visitor / patient groups with regard to cleaning sciences. Work in a safe manner so that no other persons are put at risk whilst cleaning duties are being performed.

• Initially deal with any complaints / comments regarding the service in a courteous manner from Trust staff or patients.
