Wye Valley NHS Trust in Hereford is advertising a General Surgery Secretarial role. You will manage clinics and inpatient waiting lists for designated consultants, coordinate TCIs using EPR and other systems, and act as the primary contact for patients.
You will prioritise theatre lists, arrange admissions per waiting time protocols, and provide PA support, organising administration and correspondence. You will work with Medical Secretaries to ensure smooth patient pathways.
We are excited to advertise an opportunity to join our General Surgery Secretarial Team. This is a varied and rewarding role, providing the opportunity to manage clinics and inpatient waiting lists, act as a primary contact for patients, prioritise theatre cases and support the effective management of patient pathways. You will also act as PA for designated Consultants, liaise with patients, GPs and NHS colleagues, manage correspondence and investigations, and organise, prioritise and manage a high workload under pressure and without supervision.
