Eden Brown Synergy is recruiting Social Workers to support Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) across the Dorset area, with flexible hybrid working arrangements. The role involves managing a caseload and providing high-quality statutory social work support for vulnerable children and young people.

You will be registered with Social Work England and ideally have access to a car to work across London/Dorset.

Qualifications

• Experience in Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) and statutory social work.
• Ability to complete statutory assessments, care plans, pathway plans, and safeguarding interventions.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills essential for court reports and hearings.

Responsabilités

• Manage a caseload of UASC and Children in Care.
• Complete statutory assessments, care plans, pathway plans, and safeguarding interventions.
• Undertake statutory visits and ensure support for children in care.
• Support young people through asylum and immigration processes.
• Build relationships with children, carers, schools, health professionals and services.
• Prepare reports for court proceedings and attend hearings when required.
• Drive permanence planning and transitions into adulthood.
• Champion children’s voices in decision-making and maintain records.
