Northamptonshire Children's Trust is recruiting a Permanent Social Worker for Safeguarding or Court Team in Northamptonshire. You will manage a caseload of children on Child in Need and Child Protection plans and participate in court proceedings where required.

Salary is £40,369 up to £43,686, with a package up to £49,686 and a £6,000 Golden Hello. The role offers regular supervision, training and a structured career path within the local government pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Post-qualifying experience in child protection and/or care proceedings.
• Sound knowledge of Working Together to Safeguard Children and statutory processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pro Social Partners are working with Northamptonshire Children's Trust to recruit permanent Social Workers into both their Safeguarding and Court teams.

The Role

• Manage a caseload of children subject to Child in Need and Child Protection plans.

• Prepare reports and present at child protection conferences and core group meetings.
• Work closely with partner agencies to reduce risk and improve outcomes for children.

About You

• A recognised Social Work qualification and current Social Work England registration.
• Post-qualifying experience in child protection and/or care proceedings.

• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
