This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a service that values professional autonomy, innovation, and high-quality social work practice. We are committed to creating an environment where practitioners feel supported, valued, and empowered to make a real difference in the lives of adults and carers across our communities.

About The Role

As a Social Worker within our Long Term Team, you will manage a varied and rewarding caseload, working with adults and carers to promote independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes. • Excellent assessment and case management skills
  • Timely and accurate recording to support effective case progression
  • The ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with a wide range of partners, including Health, Housing, Police, and independent sector providers
  • A commitment to promoting independence, early intervention, and preventative support
What We're Looking For

We welcome applications from Social Workers who are enthusiastic about delivering excellent outcomes and are committed to continuous professional development.

Experience in the following areas would be advantageous, although full support, training, and development will be provided for the right candidate:

  • Leading Section 42 Safeguarding Enquiries
  • Chairing multi‑agency meetings, including Multi‑Agency Adult Risk Management (MARM) meetings
  • Completing Mental Capacity Act (2005) assessments
  • Facilitating Best Interest Meetings
  • Working with Court of Protection DoLS applications and associated legal processes
A Dynamic and Rewarding Environment

The role will include participation in Duty cover, requiring the ability to respond effectively to changing priorities, triage incoming referrals, and support adults and carers whose circumstances require an urgent response.

You will need to demonstrate experience of managing complex caseloads and balancing competing demands, while delivering safe, proportionate, accountable, and cost‑effective interventions in line with the Care Act 2014 and wider local authority responsibilities.
