What you will do:

  • Chair statutory review meetings, including Looked-After Children reviews, ensuring each meeting is both productive and insightful.
  • Monitor and challenge the implementation of care plans, ensuring timely progress and preventing drift, safeguarding each child’s best outcomes.
  • Advocate for the child, acting as their consistent independent point of contact and ensuring their voice is heard.
  • Escalate unresolved concerns using formal processes and, if needed, refer issues to Cafcass ensuring the child’s needs are a priority.
  • Support multi-agency communication by liaising with social workers, families, foster carers, schools, and Cafcass to ensure cohesive and effective collaboration.
