Health & Social Care Recruitment Agency is seeking a Social Worker to join the Fostering Team in Rotherham to undertake Form F assessments, provide supervision to foster carers, and support placement activities.

The role requires a Degree in Social Work and current registration with Social Work England, with opportunities for professional development and flexible full/part-time hours in a local authority or agency setting.

Formación

• Possession of a Degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW or an equivalent recognised Social Work qualification.
• A track record of continuous professional development relevant to fostering and children's services is desired.
• Hold a current registration with Social Work England, ensuring adherence to professional standards.

Responsabilidades

• Undertake comprehensive assessments of prospective foster carers, completing Form F assessments and presenting findings to fostering panels.
• Provide supervision, support, and conduct annual reviews for approved foster carers, adhering to fostering standards and local authority procedures.
• Play a key role in the matching and placement processes, ensuring placements align with the assessed needs of children and young people.
• Engage in placement support planning, disruption meetings, and stability-focused interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with children's social workers, education professionals, health services, and other partner agencies involved in care planning.

• Expertise in supporting and supervising foster carers within a local authority or independent fostering agency.
