Job summary

Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People is seeking a social worker to manage a specialist caseload of families with complex needs. You will provide advocacy, information and support around benefits, housing and statutory services, working with professionals and partner agencies to secure timely help.

You will contribute to safeguarding practice alongside the Safeguarding Lead, deliver supervision and training, and help develop services across the East Midlands to improve outcomes for

Qualifications

• Registered Social Worker with Social Work England and current registration.
• Experience with children, young people and families with complex needs.
• Skilled in advocacy, safeguarding, assessment and partnership working.
• Able to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.
• Committed to learning and sharing knowledge with others.

Responsibilities

• Manage a specialist caseload of families requiring complex social work intervention.
• Provide advocacy, information and support around benefits, housing, statutory services and family rights.
• Work alongside families, attending meetings and building relationships with professionals and partner agencies.
• Support safeguarding practice alongside the Safeguarding Lead.
• Deliver training, supervision and professional guidance to colleagues.
• Build strong partnerships across the East Midlands to ensure families access the right support.
