Job summary

Caritas Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join our team in Northamptonshire, focusing onChildren with Disabilities. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to assess needs, develop tailored plans, and provide families with practical support.

The ideal candidate will have a recognised Social Work degree, be registered with Social Work England, and bring experience with children with disabilities.

Qualifications

• A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work or equivalent).
• Registered with Social Work England.
• Experience working with children with disabilities and their families.
• Strong assessment, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to identify the needs and strengths of children with disabilities and their families.
• Developing and implementing personalized care plans in partnership with families and relevant stakeholders.
• Providing direct support and guidance to families, helping them navigate available resources and services.
• Monitoring and reviewing progress, making necessary adjustments to care plans as required.
• Advocating for the rights and needs of children with disabilities, ensuring their voices are heard.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with local and national regulations.
