Eden Brown Synergy is seeking a Social Worker for the Looked After Children’s Team in Chippenham, Wiltshire. This long-term contract involves 37 hours per week and pays up to £40 per hour. The post emphasizes strong support from a capable management structure and regular contacts with external agencies.

Requirements include Children in Care and safeguarding experience, SW England registration, excellent report writing, and driving/own car preferred for out-of-county visits within the UK.

Qualificações

• Experience working with Children in Care and safeguarding legislation.
• Registered with Social Work England and eligible to work in the UK.
• Full driving licence and access to own car preferred.

Position

Social Worker required for work within the Looked After Children's Team in the Chippenham area of Wiltshire. Long Term contracts in beautiful area. 37 hrs a week. Competitive rates of pay to £40ph. The team has a strong management structure.

Key Responsibilities

• Pathway plans
• Visiting to children in care
• Supporting young people
• Handle complex cases with the assistance of management team
• Priority is given to maintaining close positive links with outside agencies and service providers within the community
• Hold a full caseload, support the team in covering the duty rota and have availability to a reliable car in order to complete stat visits and out of county visits

Requirements

• Good communication and strong report writing skills
• Have both Children in Care and Safeguarding experience and a good working knowledge of all the relevant legislation that is the foundation of good practice with this client group
• Social Work England registered
• Ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
