If you are an experienced Children's Social Worker looking for a long-term contract within a supportive Children in Need and Child Protection team, this opportunity offers stability, flexibility, and manageable workloads.   Key Responsibilities
• Manage a caseload of Children in Need and Child Protection cases.
• Complete statutory assessments, plans, and reviews in line with legislation and best practice.
• Build effective relationships with children, families, and partner agencies to improve outcomes.
• Undertake visits, risk assessments, and safeguarding interventions.
• Contribute to care proceedings where required, although court work is kept to a minimum.
• About You
• Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
• Recent experience within a Children in Need and/or Child Protection team.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and statutory responsibilities.
• Confident in managing complex cases and working collaboratively with partner agencies.
