Job summary

Eden Brown Synergy is recruiting a Social Worker for the Adult Safeguarding Team in the Taunton area of Somerset. This role is 37 hours per week, up to £38ph, initially a 3-month contract with potential extension, and requires SW England registration.

You will assess risk, gather information, and work with adults, their families, carers and professionals to develop protection plans that balance safety with independence. One day in the office.

Qualifications

• Social Work England registered.
• Driver with access to own car preferred.
• Experience in Adult Social Care practice.
• Sound understanding of safeguarding legislation.

Job description

Social Workers required for work within the Adult Safeguarding Team in the Taunton area of Somerset. Excellent rates of pay up to £38ph. 37 hours per week, 3 month minimum contract but possibility to extend. Exciting opportunity in a lovely area with good transport links from M5 for neighboring authorities. 1 day to be in the office.

Social workers carry out safeguarding enquiries by gathering information, assessing risk, and working closely with the adult, their families, carers, and other professionals. They develop and implement protection plans that balance safety with the individual's rights and independence.

We are looking a social worker who focuses on people, their strengths and the networks and community around them and who is competent and knowledgeable in all areas of Adult Social Care practice. This includes a sound and evidenced understanding of the legislative frameworks and an individual who has demonstrated continued professional development, to ensure their practice quality is constantly evolving.

You will be Social Work England registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
