Job summary

Eden Brown Synergy is seeking an experienced Agency Senior Practitioner to join the Safeguarding Adults Team in Bristol for a six-month contract.

The role focuses on duty management, with daily oversight of safeguarding referrals, decision making, and ensuring timely progression of work across the duty function.

Hybrid working applies, with a minimum of two days per week in Bristol City Centre; UK-resident drivers with access to a car are preferred.

Qualifications

• Significant experience within Adult Safeguarding.
• Strong knowledge of the Care Act and safeguarding duties.
• Experience making Section 42.1 safeguarding decisions.
• Experience managing a safeguarding duty desk or similar front-door function.
• Ability to make timely, proportionate decisions in a high-volume environment.
• Experience providing advice and guidance to practitioners on safeguarding concerns and risk.
• Strong recording, decision-making and risk assessment skills.

Responsibilities

Senior Practitioner

Senior Practitioner is required for work within the Adults Safeguarding Team in the vibrant city of Bristol. Excellent rates of pay up to £41ph. 6 month minimum contract but likely extended. 37 hours per week. Exciting opportunity in a great city with good transport links to neighbouring authorities. Flexible working.
