We are seeking a hardworking, motivated and experienced Social Workerto join our team.
The exact nature of your day-to-day responsibilities will depend on your skills, interests, and professional background. You may:
Support individuals with complex mental health needs during hospital discharge
Deliver person-centred interventions for those facing substance misuse challenges
Conduct Care Act assessments and develop care/support plans in the community
Work alongside families and young people facing safeguarding risks or court proceedings
Join multi-disciplinary teams for collaborative care planning and safeguarding meetings
Supervise staff, mentor juniors, or lead risk-focused discussions (if at senior level)

To be considered for any of these roles, you must have:
A Social Work qualification (BA, MA, DipSW or equivalent)
Social Work England registration (active)
Enhanced DBS
A strong working knowledge of at least two of the following:
Care Act 2014
Mental Capacity Act 2005
Mental Health Act 1983 (amended)
Children Act 1989/2004 (for child and family roles)
Experience working within a local authority or NHS-partnered setting
Clear understanding of safeguarding principles for adults or children
Confidence using case management systems and producing clear, accurate records
AMHP or Best Interests Assessor (BIA) qualification
Working with substance misuse or dual diagnosis
Court work or Children's Services intervention
Experience supervising staff or students
CHC checklist and Continuing Healthcare knowledge
Familiarity with multidisciplinary team settings
