To provide a professional social work service to adults, their families and carers in line with the requirements of the Care Act 2014, focusing on promoting wellbeing and identifying significant impact. The role involves complying with relevant legislation such as childcare and mental health laws, assessing and managing risks considering the Mental Capacity Act 2005. The role holder will complete strength-based assessments to identify individual, community, and personal network strengths, supporting informed decision-making and applying robust eligibility criteria. Developing support plans that meet personalized outcomes and taking a preventative, holistic approach to interventions. Undertaking safeguarding enquiries in accordance with legislation and good practice, ensuring the adult remains central to the process.
