Job summary

Caritas Recruitment Limited is seeking a qualified Social Worker for Wrexham's Adoption Team to support adoption processes and secure the best outcomes for children in need of permanent homes.

You will conduct assessments, prepare reports for adoption panels, provide ongoing support to adoptive families, collaborate with local authorities and health services, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.

Qualifications

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Care Wales is essential.
  • Experience in child protection and adoption services is required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse families.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
