Join our dynamic Corporate Parenting Team in Wrexham as a Children's Social Worker. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional who is passionate about improving the lives of children and young people in care. In this pivotal role, you will work collaboratively with families, children, and various stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for those in our care.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans tailored to the individual needs of children and families.
  • Building strong relationships with children and young people to understand their needs and aspirations.
  • Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams to provide integrated support and intervention.
  • Monitoring and reviewing the progress of care plans, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Providing guidance and support to foster carers and adoptive families.

To be considered for this role, you must possess a relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work or equivalent) and be registered with Social Care Wales. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate:

  • Experience in working with children and families, particularly in a corporate parenting context.
  • Sound knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices.
