Opus People Solutions, on behalf of Cambridge County Council, has an exciting opportunity for a Social Worker to join their Safeguarding Team.

Job Title: Social Worker Family Safeguarding

Location/Hybrid Working: 2-3 days in the office, Huntingdon

Salary: £39 per hour (umbrella)

1. Conduct statutory visits for CIN, CP, and CIC cases, including chairing CIN and Core Group meetings. Manage caseloads involving CIN, CP, and CIC, including cases in PLO or S31 Care Proceedings. Complete court reports, risk assessments, and parenting assessments.
2. Attend court with support from a Senior Practitioner or Team Manager. Support the duty rota.
3. Attend ICPC and RCPC meetings, prepare conference reports, and manage and assess risk.
