Job summary

Northumberland County Council is seeking a Team Manager (Social Work) to oversee a locality team of social workers and care managers in the west of Northumberland. The role focuses on delivering high-quality support and ensuring safeguarding and service development.

The candidate will have post-qualification experience, supervise staff and demonstrate strong leadership with a flexible approach to working across the County. Training opportunities and a fixed-term 12-month contract are offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work and registration with Social Work England.
• Experience supervising or mentoring staff.
• Post-Qualifying Experience e.g. PG Certificate modules.

Responsibilities
