Job summary

Northumberland County Council is seeking a Team Manager to lead a locality team of social workers and care managers. You will supervise, mentor, and develop staff, ensuring high-quality social care practice and safeguarding outcomes.

The role links closely with primary care and the Care and Support service in the west of Northumberland. You will manage a delegated budget, drive quality standards, and promote a learning culture with dedicated Adult Social Care training support.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work & registered with Social Work England.
• Experience supervising or mentoring staff.
• Post-Qualifying Experience e.g. PG Certificate modules.
• Must have a valid UK driving licence and be able to use a car for work purposes.
