Job summary

Danny Sullivan Group is seeking a Social Value Coordinator to lead and deliver social value initiatives across Midlands civil engineering projects. You will drive community engagement, coordinate partnerships with schools and charities, and ensure reporting of social value outcomes for client and framework requirements.

The role focuses on developing impact through apprenticeships, work experience, volunteering and related activities, with reporting and collaboration across project teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in social value, community engagement or stakeholder engagement roles.
• Civil engineering, construction, infrastructure or built environment experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple projects.
• Experience collecting and reporting social value data and KPIs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

• Develop and implement project-specific social value plans.
• Build relationships with clients, schools, colleges, charities and communities.
• Coordinate apprenticeships, work experience, employment and volunteering initiatives.
• Organise careers fairs, STEM events and community engagement activities.

We're recruiting for a Social Value Coordinator / Social Value Lead to join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering major infrastructure projects across the Midlands.

This is an excellent opportunity to help deliver meaningful social value initiatives across a diverse portfolio of civil engineering projects, ensuring positive outcomes for local communities while meeting client and contractual commitments.

The Role

Working closely with operational teams, clients, local authorities, education providers and community organisations, you\'ll coordinate and deliver social value activities across multiple civil engineering projects. You\'ll be responsible for driving community engagement, employment and skills initiatives, and ensuring social value commitments are achieved and accurately reported.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project-specific social value plans.
