Job summary

Danny Sullivan Group in the Midlands is recruiting a Social Value Coordinator/Lead to drive social value initiatives across major civil engineering projects. You will work with clients, authorities and community organisations to deliver engagement, employment and skills programs and report outcomes to meet contractual commitments.

The role requires coordinating project teams, tracking KPIs, and supporting bid submissions while promoting best practice across the business.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Social Value, Community Engagement or Stakeholder Engagement role.
• Experience within civil engineering, construction, infrastructure or the built environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Experience collecting and reporting social value data and KPIs.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project-specific social value plans.
• Build strong relationships with clients, schools, colleges, charities and community organisations.
• Coordinate apprenticeships, work experience, employment and volunteering initiatives.
• Organise careers fairs, STEM events and community engagement activities.
• Capture, monitor and report social value outcomes in line with client and framework requirements.
• Work with project teams to identify opportunities to maximise social value delivery.
• Maintain accurate records and produce regular performance reports.
• Support bid submissions with social value content where required.
• Promote best practice and continuous improvement across the business.
