Version 1 in Birmingham is seeking a social value specialist to own the development of evaluated social value responses for public sector bids. You will translate Version 1's social value programs and workforce initiatives into compelling, compliant commitments, aligned to customer priorities.

Working with ESG, presales, delivery and HR, you will gather evidence, manage commitments and KPIs, maintain the response library, and use AI-assisted drafting tools while ensuring accuracy and evidence

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of the UK Government Social Value Model, MACs, Social Value Portal and TOMs.
• Proven experience writing evaluated bid responses for UK public sector procurements.
• Strong understanding of tendering, scoring methodologies and deadlines.
• Excellent written communication with evidence-based content.
• Experience interpreting customer requirements into structured commitments and responses.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to work with subject matter experts.
• Highly organized with multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Experience using AI-assisted content development tools in regulated environments.
• Advanced Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills.

Aufgaben

• Analyse tender documentation to identify social value evaluation criteria.
• Lead development of high-scoring social value responses for public sector bids.
• Collaborate with ESG, presales, delivery, HR and Talent to gather evidence and delivery plans.
• Translate programmes into contract-specific, measurable commitments.
• Maintain and develop the social value content library and commitments register.
• Support continuous improvement of social value propositions and themes.
• Work with AI-assisted drafting tools while ensuring accuracy and evidence.
• Stay current with UK procurement policy and best practice.
• Support awareness of Social Value and deliver training.
