Job summary

Roots HR CIC seeks an experienced HR Consultant to deliver pragmatic HR advice and compliance support to social sector clients. You will advise on employee relations, HR strategy and policy documentation, working remotely with a small dedicated team and using hybrid communication tools.

The ideal candidate is MCIPD Level 7 qualified with extensive generalist HR experience, strong communication, and a passion for social impact. Commitment to ongoing learning is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering robust generalist HR advice and guidance.
• Advising and coaching line managers to successful conclusions on complex ER issues.
• Excellent written skills with ability to produce high-quality reports.
• Passion for HR and commitment to ongoing knowledge update.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert HR advice, compliance support and employee relations guidance to clients.
• Support clients by phone, Teams/Zoom and email with documentation and compliance.
• Develop and implement HR strategies and best practices for social sector organisations.
