Greenpeace UK is an independent national/regional organisation within the global Greenpeace campaigning network, which acts to change attitudes and behaviour, to protect and conserve the environment and to promote peace. The global network of Greenpeace organisations comprises 26 independent national/regional Greenpeace organisations with presence in over 55 countries across Europe, Africa, the Americas, Asia and the Pacific, as well as a coordinating and supporting organisation, Greenpeace International.
This is an ideal chance to demonstrate the creative flair, grasp of social media metrics and instinct for engagement that underpin both your own strong portfolio of social media content and your eagerness to guide colleagues in using social media more effectively.
You'll be managing Greenpeace UK's organic social media presence, ensuring it contributes to core campaign and organisational objectives by producing compelling, timely and trend-savvy content. As a hands-on content producer, you'll use a range of high quality design skills to generate social-first visuals, graphics and short-form videos that cut through a crowded space and engage new and existing audiences.
Balancing creativity and coordination, you'll also take ownership of our content calendar, ensure platform health and optimise output for impact. You'll collaborate closely with digital campaigners, content creators and freelancers, and stay ahead of platform trends and algorithm changes to ensure our content is engaging, authentic and influential.
Given the fixed term nature of this role, ending on 31 December 2025, we require the successful applicant to start as soon as possible.
