Job summary

Adult Social Care is seeking a Social Media Executive in Poole to own social media activity across platforms and audiences on a permanent basis. The role involves developing engaging content, managing campaigns and strengthening the company’s online presence.

You will deliver content calendars, create copy and media, adapt tone and visuals for multiple markets, and report on performance while working with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in social media, ideally within a multi-market or commercial environment.
• Strong content creation skills, including copywriting, video and storytelling.
• Good understanding of social media platforms, trends and best practices.
• Experience developing social media strategies, guidelines or processes.
• Comfortable using social media management, scheduling and reporting tools.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Creative, organised and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver social media strategies across multiple markets and platforms
• Plan and manage content calendars, campaigns and day-to-day social media activity
• Create engaging copy, video and creative content for a range of audiences
• Maintain a consistent tone of voice, visual identity and brand presence across all channels
• Adapt content for different audiences and markets where required
• Keep up to date with social media trends, platforms and emerging content formats
• Create and maintain social media resources, templates and campaign materials
• Work closely with internal teams, creative partners and external agencies
• Provide guidance and support to colleagues on social media best practice
• Manage scheduling, publishing, approvals and performance reporting
• Develop efficient processes to improve the quality and consistency of social media activity
• Support wider marketing campaigns through social media, automation and targeted activity
