We are looking for a creative and commercially minded Social Media Executive with strong social media experience to join an established marketing team. Social media and content creation will be a key focus of this position. You will take an active role in managing brand social channels, developing engaging content, creating seasonal content calendars, and identifying opportunities to increase reach, engagement and brand awareness. Alongside social media, the Social Media Executive will support wider brand campaigns, events, partnerships and sponsorship activity, working with internal stakeholders, agencies, influencers and external suppliers. Social Media Executive: Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop brand social media channels, creating engaging and consistent content
- Develop and maintain seasonal social media and content calendars
- Plan, schedule and deliver organic and paid social content aligned with wider marketing campaigns
- Create engaging written, visual and video content across social, digital and email channels
- Monitor social media performance, engagement and trends, using insights to continually improve content
- Develop social media initiatives including competitions, community engagement and paid campaigns
- Stay up to date with emerging social media trends, platforms and content formats
- Support influencer activity, including both organic and paid collaborations
- Work with agencies, content creators and suppliers to produce high-quality creative assets
- Support wider integrated marketing campaigns across B2C and B2B audiences
- Assist with brand events, trade shows, sponsorships and customer activations
- Ensure all content reflects brand guidelines, tone of voice and positioning
- Coordinate multiple campaigns and projects from initial brief through to delivery
- Monitor and report on campaign and social media performance
Social Media Executive: Skills & Experience Required
- Previous hands-on social media experience is essential
- Experience managing business/brand social media accounts and creating content
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends and audience engagement
- Confident creating engaging written, visual and video content
- Experience developing and managing social media/content calendars
- Good understanding of organic and paid social media
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate new content ideas
- Strong written communication and copywriting skills
- Good understanding of social media analytics and performance metrics
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines
- Experience working within a broader marketing or brand role
- Confident working with internal stakeholders, agencies and external suppliers
- B2C and B2B marketing experience would be advantageous
- Exposure to events, partnerships, sponsorships or influencer marketing would be beneficial
- Full UK driving licence essential
