Job description

Working across marketing and editorial, this role will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging content strategies across social media platforms to enhance brand presence, editorial content, drive audience engagement, and achieve marketing goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage all social media channels, including planning, writing, and scheduling engaging posts.
  2. Create compelling copy that reflects both the brand and the creative industry voice, combining business and creative social media content.
  3. Collaborate with marketing and editorial teams to share interesting and timely news, views, and promotional content daily across all social media platforms.
  4. Respond to questions and comments, and repost relevant brand content shares.
  5. Grow the audience by following production companies, agencies, post-production houses, and other industry-relevant businesses on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram, as well as connecting with individuals from the creative industry on LinkedIn.
  6. Create and manage social media campaigns for events, projects, and partnerships, working closely with the Marketing Manager to align with overall marketing strategies.
  7. Cultivate and manage relationships with clients, audiences, influencers, and social media followers, leading reposting activities.
  8. Identify and research relevant trends, topics, and audience preferences.
  9. Ensure content is engaging, relevant, and consistent with brand voice and guidelines.
  10. Optimize content for different social media platforms.
  11. Collaborate with designers, editorial, and other team members to produce high-quality content.
  12. Monitor social media channels and engage with followers, clients, and sponsors.
  13. Respond promptly and professionally to comments, messages, and inquiries.
  14. Build and nurture online communities.
  15. Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement rates, reach, and conversions.
  16. Identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations.
  17. Prepare reports on social media performance and ROI.
  18. Stay informed about the latest social media trends, best practices, and tools.
  19. Experiment with new content formats and strategies regularly.
  20. Work closely with marketing and editorial teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment.
  21. Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Film, Advertising, Media, Communications, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in social media within a creative industry.
  • Experience with marketing automation software such as HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce, etc.
  • Experience analyzing social media data and interpreting insights to guide campaign strategies.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Experience managing multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Experience with design and content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
  • Other duties as assigned.
