Job summary

Jobtailor in London seeks a creative Social Media Content Producer to craft high-quality copy, shoot and edit video/photo content, and manage community engagement across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and X.

You’ll work with stakeholders to plan content, ensure brand consistency, and support events. Strong editing and multi-platform capabilities are essential, with ongoing learning about platform trends and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of writing engaging and accurate copy.
  • Ability to capture, edit and optimise videos and photos to a high standard.
  • Competent in Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut or similar.
  • Hands-on experience marketing or creating content on most of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and X.
  • General knowledge and understanding of the social media landscape, including content trends across B2B and B2C channels.
  • Demonstrable experience working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational skills and a track record of delivering work on time.
  • Commitment to follow protocols and guidelines to manage corporate and reputational risk.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • Social media advertising and community management skills are strongly desirable; willingness to develop these skills is essential.
  • Competence with social performance monitoring tools such as Hootsuite is desirable.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and evolving with industry best practice.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Social Media Content Manager with social-first content creation communicating brand messages, reflecting London’s diversity, and showcasing small business support services.
  • Plan, coordinate logistics for, film, and edit fast-paced content for organic and paid social media channels.
  • Source, create, write, film, and edit photo and video content for Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X.
  • Produce engaging, accurate, and high-quality written copy.
  • Contribute to monthly content planning, strategy, and ideation sessions with multiple stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with in-house content, design, marketing, and communications teams.
  • Maintain consistent and engaging community management.
  • Monitor trends and conversations and report content opportunities to the Social Media Content Manager.
  • Manage footage and social media assets in the asset library.
  • Coordinate social media equipment including phones, gimbals, microphones, tripods, and lights.
  • Collaborate with external agencies on media planning and campaign alignment as required.
  • Support social, marketing, and outreach activities, including events and photoshoots.
  • Ensure content has appropriate usage permissions and model releases.
  • Complete other tasks allocated by the line manager.
