Job summary

VCCP Roar, a unit of VCCP Group LLP, is seeking an ambitious Account Manager to join our social and influencer team. You’ll handle multiple projects for B2C clients across retail, food and drink, FMCG and travel, contributing to social strategy, content ideation, development and delivery, alongside our creatives.

You’ll collaborate with PR colleagues to ensure campaigns are joined up, get hands-on with filming, and participate in new business activities, including pitches and strategy

Qualifications

• Recent experience in an agency environment at SAE/AM level.
• Social native with expertise in Meta and TikTok; other platforms a plus.
• Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrable commercial experience with growing revenues and budgets.
• Autonomy in community management for consumer brands.
• Influencer marketing experience is desirable (not essential).

Responsibilities

• Ideate and develop social media content with knowledge of formats, trends, tone and platforms.
• Lead content creation process with external and in-house teams to deliver content on schedule.
• Share insights with clients and the wider agency to capitalise on trends.
• Capture lo-fi social content on a phone with basic filming and editing skills.
• Optimize content for paid and organic social channels; understand algorithms and conversations.
• Act as a social native, building authentic conversations across channels.
• Establish yourself as go-to day-to-day client contact and develop strong relationships.
• Lead internal meetings and update clients on status via calls and meetings.
• Own projects from planning to evaluation, ensuring KPIs are met.
• Manage pipeline with weekly WIP meetings and client reporting.
• Identify issues and advise on action, involving seniors when needed.
• Track budgets and PO handling; contribute to client profitability.
• Develop knowledge of clients’ industries to address challenges and opportunities.
