Job summary

Kibble is seeking a socially driven Social Enterprise Manager to lead the development and growth of social businesses across its nationwide services. You will identify opportunities, build plans and scale ventures with real social impact.

You will develop partnerships with employers, funders, education and care organisations and oversee the enterprise curriculum across the Skills Academy and Kibble schools.

Qualifications

• Entrepreneurship, social enterprise, or business development experience.
• Strong business acumen, with knowledge of finance, marketing, planning and performance monitoring.
• Experience identifying market opportunities and building partnerships.
• Ability to think strategically and translate ideas into delivery plans.
• Experience working with employers, funders, investors, and external partners.
• Degree in management, business, marketing, or education is desirable.
• Experience delivering enterprise, vocational, employability learning programmes is desirable.
• Strong leadership, communication, organisation, and project management.
• Ability to build relationships with young people, staff and stakeholders.
• Commitment to inclusive practice and progression opportunities.
• Confident team player, able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Identify social business opportunities aligned with strategic objectives.
• Develop robust business plans for new and existing ventures.
• Lead creation and scaling of social ventures.
• Foster entrepreneurial mindset across Kibble and staff to develop ideas into sustainable activity.
• Build relationships with employers, investors and partners across sectors.
• Provide line management to Skills Academy instructors and support performance and quality.
• Monitor markets and adapt social business strategy.
• Develop KPIs aligned with business, education and social impact objectives.
• Monitor budgets and ensure sustainability of activities.
• Collaborate with education and management teams across the group.
• Represent Kibble at external forums and partnership meetings.
• Embed enterprise and employability in curriculum across the Skills Academy and schools.
• Ensure quality assurance of qualifications and learning programmes.
• Support staff development and training initiatives.
• Oversee delivery and assessment of relevant qualifications and qualifications.
