Job summary

ThePlaceToBe in Leeds is seeking a Senior Creative Strategist to join a social-first agency working with beauty, wellness and lifestyle brands. You will own creative strategy across social channels, using data to shape ideas and drive performance, while exploring AI-powered production at scale.

You’ll mentor junior strategists, collaborate with creative, performance and account teams, and push the boundaries of how creative is developed, produced and tested in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in creative strategy / paid social, ideally agency-side.
• Strong experience across social-first, DTC, e-commerce, beauty or wellness brands.
• Confident using data and insight to shape creative strategy and testing.
• Strong understanding of Meta, TikTok and social creative.
• Genuine interest in AI-powered creative tools and how they’re changing the industry.
• Strategic but hands-on, curious and commercially minded.

Responsibilities

• Own creative strategy across social, Meta and TikTok, using data and insight to shape ideas.
• Develop concepts, hooks, briefs and creative direction that stop the scroll and deliver.
• Lead AI-powered image and video production, from initial idea through to final asset.
• Build a systematic approach to creative testing, learning and optimisation.
• Work closely with creative, performance and account teams to deliver campaigns for beauty, wellness and lifestyle brands.
• Mentor junior strategists while staying hands-on with the creative when needed.
