Job summary

GLASGOW CITY COUNCIL AND ARMS LENGTH ORGANISATION is seeking a Social Care Worker for Homeless Services to manage a busy caseload and work within a multi-disciplinary team at GCHSCP, North West Glasgow. You will assess housing options, provide information and support, and contribute to preventing homelessness in line with policy.

PVG membership is required upon appointment and interviews are scheduled in December.

Qualifications

• Experience in homelessness prevention and housing options assessments.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload and work within a team.
• PVG membership essential on taking up appointment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a busy and varied caseload and report to a Senior Homeless Worker.
• Provide housing option assessments, information and assistance.
• Collaborate with GCC Health & Social Care Partnership and partner agencies.
