Job summary

Glasgow City Council and Arms Length Organisation is seeking a Team Leader for Homeless Services to lead the Temporary Accommodation Allocation Team, ensuring efficient and statutory-compliant allocation of homelessness accommodation in Glasgow.

You will work with the Allocations and Green Wynd Coordinator to optimise placement management, oversee recording systems, and supervise staff while adhering to HR policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and understanding of homeless statutory responsibilities.
• Experience supervising staff and understanding HR policies and regulations.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with partners and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of the Temporary Accommodation Allocation Team to ensure proper allocation of temporary and emergency accommodation.
• Support an integrated approach to management and allocation of void properties.
• Ensure effective recording systems are in place to report temporary accommodation use across the service.
• Collaborate with the Allocations and Green Wynd Coordinator to support placement management.
