WHAT IS THE ROLE?

Hunter & Gather's opportunity is to become a brand people increasingly see, talk about, recommend and want to be part of. This role owns the organic social, community and advocacy engine that helps make that happen.

As Social & Advocacy Manager, you'll own our organic social strategy and operating rhythm, our community and our creator/advocate ecosystem - from grassroots customers and ambassadors through to experts, tastemakers and larger creator partnerships.

This is primarily a strategy, relationships and orchestration role rather than a hands‑on content creation role. You'll determine what our owned channels need to communicate and why, build the channel plans and briefs, manage our communities and creator relationships, and work closely with our Content Creator to bring that strategy to life.

You'll also manage the creator ecosystem that supports Performance Creative. You will own the relationships, commercial arrangements and operational pipeline; our Performance Creative Strategist will own the performance brief, creative direction and learning for creator content used in paid acquisition.

The ambition is to build one connected advocacy and creator ecosystem that strengthens both the brand and our commercial growth.

  • Strong briefing skills — able to translate strategy into clear, actionable creative briefs for internal creatives and external creators
  • Hands‑on experience with creator/influencer platforms and social management and listening tools
  • Commercially confident managing creator budgets, usage rights, licensing and paid‑media permissions.
  • Data literate — comfortable reporting on community, advocacy and social performance and turning insight into action
  • Comfortable working with a Mac
DESIRABLE
  • Experience building TikTok Shop, affiliate or UGC creator flywheels, including sourcing creators for paid/performance usage
