JobsTrackR in Basingstoke is seeking an SMT Operator to operate and monitor SMT machinery for PCB assembly. You will work with the production team to meet output, quality and efficiency targets on a 3‑month contract with potential to go permanent.

The role requires prior SMT experience in electronics manufacturing, strong attention to detail, and good communication. Immediate start and a friendly, supportive environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience operating SMT machinery in electronics manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Operating SMT pick-and-place machinery.
• Loading components and materials onto production lines.
• Setting up and carrying out machine changeovers.
• Monitoring machine performance and identifying faults.
• Conducting quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
• Reading and following work instructions and engineering documentation.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
• Supporting continuous improvement activities within production.
