Job summary

MCC Label in Daventry, Northamptonshire, is seeking a SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Die) Operative to join our production team. This full-time, permanent role involves efficient press changeovers, safe working practices, and contributing to Lean improvements.

You will load information, support the print plan, and collaborate with colleagues. The ideal candidate has printing or manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, good problem-solving under pressure, and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute efficient press changeovers to meet daily SMED targets.
• Work safely and support site health, safety, and environmental objectives.
• Contribute to Lean improvements, particularly in SMED and yield
• Accurate information loading and analysis of Radius is key
• Support timely, cost-effective delivery of the print plan
• Support initiatives to reduce changeover times
