Job summary

Capital on Tap is seeking a proactive Customer Growth professional to own the initial relationship with newly approved SME customers. You will educate, activate, and grow their spend by understanding each business and showing how our card adds value.

You will mainly speak with SME owner-directors and finance managers to move them from approved to actively using our core payment tool. This is a phone-led, target-driven role with strong KPIs.

Qualifications

• Experience in phone-based sales, account management, or customer activation.
• Comfortable working to clear targets and KPIs with evidence of past results.
• Confident speaking with business owners and finance professionals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a strong first experience for newly approved SME customers.
• Understand each customer’s business model and payment needs.
• Drive increased and sustained card spend through proactive outbound calls.
• Manage a high-volume portfolio and prioritise opportunities effectively.
• Make 20-30 outbound calls per day to decision-makers.
• Work towards clear spend and activation targets.
