Job summary

The Clancy Group is seeking a Metering Dig Team Leader to on-site lead a team in Hartlepool, delivering safe, high-quality meter installation work to programme. You will plan daily tasks, supervise field staff, and mentor operatives while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Experience with CAT & Genny, NRSWA desirable, and a full UK driving licence is essential. The role offers a permanent, full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

Experience leading teams on-site in utilities or construction.
Strong health and safety awareness and the ability to enforce safe practices.

Responsibilities

Lead and support the on-site team to deliver work safely and to specification.
Plan daily activities and allocate tasks for efficient completion.
Carry out risk assessments, method statements, and site briefings.
Ensure equipment and vehicles are fit for purpose and maintained.
Maintain health, safety and environmental standards on site.
Mentor operatives and support development while upholding high standards.
Complete site records and digital reporting accurately.
