Job summary
Hydrosave UK Limited is seeking a Smart Water Services Field Technician (FTC) to operate from West Midlands, carrying out outdoor field duties and sensor installations. You will work from your home location daily, with occasional site travel using a company vehicle. Training is provided to develop technical skills within the water sector.
The role emphasizes safety, accuracy in reporting, and collaboration with Team Leaders to support reliable water services and network monitoring.
Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence.
- Consent to and pass a CRB check.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good planning and organisational ability.
- Decisive and confident decision-making skills.
- Strong awareness of Health, Safety & Wellbeing.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain water sensors used to record acoustics, pressure and flow.
- Use specialist equipment as part of field work.
- Accurately complete timesheets, survey forms, and leakage reports.
- Take full responsibility for Health & Safety compliance.
- Work closely with Team Leaders and fellow technicians.
- Report accidents, incidents, and near misses within required timeframes.
- Adhere to company vehicle safety processes and complete daily vehicle checks.
