Job summary

Hydrosave (UK) Ltd is seeking a Smart Water Services Field Technician to install data logging devices and sensors for leakage, network modelling and water usage in the West Midlands. You’ll work outdoors from your home location and travel to sites daily, completing forms and ensuring safety.

Full training is provided, with a company vehicle, fuel card, tools and PPE. A supportive team environment offers ongoing development and a clear career path within the water sector.

Qualifications

• You will need a full, valid UK driving licence.
• Consent to a CRB check is required.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail are essential.
• Good planning and organisational ability are important.
• Decisive and confident decision-making skills are required.
• Strong awareness of health, safety and wellbeing is necessary.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for data recording.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain water sensors to record acoustics, pressure and flow.
• Use specialist equipment and record data accurately.
• Complete timesheets and leakage reports on schedule.
• Ensure health & safety compliance and vehicle safety checks.
• Collaborate with Team Leaders and fellow technicians.
• Report incidents within required timeframes.
