Job summary

GXO is seeking an Automation Maintenance Engineer for a cutting-edge distribution operation in Crick, Northamptonshire. You will maintain conveyors, sortation equipment and AGVs, performing preventative and corrective maintenance with safety and quality at the forefront.

This permanent role operates on a Panama shift (2-2-3 or 2-3-2, 07:00–19:00). The package includes salary up to £51,000, pension, private medical and dental insurance, and a wide range of employee benefits.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance across automated warehouse equipment and systems.
• Diagnose automation faults, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective repair solutions.
• Ensure all engineering activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with site standards and KPIs.
• Complete maintenance records and engineering reports to support asset management and compliance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and efficiency.
