Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc is seeking an Automation Maintenance Engineer to join the night engineering team at Crick's highly automated fashion distribution centre. You will maintain performance and reliability of cutting-edge warehouse automation, investigate faults and implement improvements to keep operations running through the Panama shift (2-2-3 or 2-3-2) from 19:00 to 07:00.

Qualifications

• Experience with automation, conveyors, sortation or material handling equipment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding abilities.
• Proactive problem-solving with focus on safety and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on automated warehouse equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
• Complete root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance.
• Accurately record maintenance activities and ensure safety compliance.
