Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd in Crawley, West Sussex, is seeking an experienced SMART Repairer to join our professional automotive repair operation. The role offers a £36,000 basic salary and realistic OTE of £43,000, with Monday to Friday hours 08:00–18:00 and a stable, locality-based position.

You will perform cosmetic repairs, alloy wheel refurbishment, paint mixing, masking, painting, machine polishing, and related duties in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• At least three years’ experience as a SMART Repairer.
• Strong knowledge of SMART repair techniques and alloy wheel refurbishment.
• Experience with paint mixing, preparation, masking, painting and machine polishing.
• Attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work.
• Experience in glass, interior trim and paintless dent repair is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Complete SMART repairs across a range of vehicles.
• Refurbish alloy wheels and perform cosmetic repairs.
• Prepare surfaces, mix paint, mask and paint.
• Machine polish to achieve a professional finish.
• Carry out interior trim and glass repairs where required.

We are recruiting an experienced SMART Repairer to join our professional automotive repair operation in Crawley, West Sussex.

• £36,000 basic salary
• Realistic OTE of £43,000
• Monday to Friday, with working hours between 08:00 and 18:00
• Stable position based in the Crawley/Gatwick area

Duties:

• Completing high-quality SMART Repairer repairs across a range of vehicles
• Carrying out alloy wheel refurbishment and associated cosmetic repairs
• Preparing surfaces, mixing paint, masking and painting
• Performing machine polishing to achieve a professional finish
• Completing interior trim and glass repairs where required
• Undertaking paintless dent repair work where suitably trained
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship, efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Managing repair work to agreed deadlines while contributing effectively to a professional team

Requirements:

• At least three years’ experience working as a SMART Repairer
• Strong knowledge of SMART repair techniques and alloy wheel refurbishment
• Practical experience in paint mixing, preparation, masking, painting and machine polishing
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high repair standards
• Glass repair, interior trim and paintless dent repair experience is preferred but not essential
• Professional approach and commitment to achieving outstanding results

Previous employment as a SMART Repairer, with a proven ability to deliver consistent, high-quality cosmetic repairs, is essential.
