Job summary

Motorclean Ltd is seeking a Mobile SMART Repair Technician to join our team of mobile specialists. You will travel to customer locations within your designated region, delivering high-quality SMART repairs using company van and equipment.

Qualifications

• Strong proven experience in Smart Repair body repair and spray painting.
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to this role.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Assess damaged vehicles and determine the appropriate repair method.
• Carry out SMART repairs to the highest standard, including dents, scratches, scuffs, paint damage, bumpers, panels and alloy wheels.
• Complete paint preparation, colour matching, paint mixing and application, along with polishing, blending and finishing.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vehicle body repair and spray-painting techniques.
• Complete jobs accurately and promptly using the company portal.
• Manage daily workload and appointments efficiently, ensuring work is completed within agreed timescales.
• Monitor stock levels and place stock orders when required.
• Follow all Health & Safety guidelines and company procedures.
• Communicate professionally with customers, delivering a high standard of customer service.
• Be flexible and willing to travel to other SMART Repair sites when required.

Motorclean is looking for a Mobile SMART Repair Technician to join our team of Mobile SMART Repair Technicians.

You will be provided with a fully equipped company van and will travel to locations across your designated region, including but not limited to Derby.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assess damaged vehicles and determine the appropriate repair method.
• Carry out SMART repairs to the highest standard, including minor dents, scratches, scuffs, paint damage, bumpers, panels and alloy wheels.
• Complete paint preparation, colour matching, paint mixing and application, along with polishing, blending and finishing.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vehicle body repair and spray-painting techniques.
• Complete jobs accurately and promptly using the company portal.
• Manage daily workload and appointments efficiently, ensuring work is completed within agreed timescales.
• Maintain a clean, organised and professional working environment, with good housekeeping and proper storage of tools and equipment.
• Monitor stock levels and place stock orders when required.
• Follow all Health & Safety guidelines and company procedures.
• Communicate professionally and politely with customers, delivering a high standard of customer service.
• Be flexible and willing to travel to and work at other SMART Repair sites when required.

Requirements:

• Strong proven experience in Smart Repair body repair and spray painting.
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to this role.
• Ability to perform tasks safely and effectively.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well independently or within a team environment.
• Valid Full Driving Licence.
