Job summary

Holt Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Mobile Repair Technician to service vehicles on-site in Stockport and surrounding areas. You will perform SMART repairs, cosmetic fixes, bumper and plastic repairs, and refinishing with a fully equipped company van.

The role offers earning potential with a salary up to £45,000 plus bonus and an OTE £55,000+. 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a strong benefits package and career progression within a leading Bodyshop Group.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within SMART Repair, Cosmetic Repair or Bodyshop Paint Spraying.
• Strong plastic repair experience - essential.
• Experience carrying out bumper, trim and minor cosmetic repairs.
• Strong paint preparation, colour matching and spraying skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality repairs.
• Professional and customer-focused approach.
• Good work ethic and ability to work independently.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.

• Carrying out bumper and trim repairs.

• Minor dent removal and cosmetic repairs.
• Inspecting vehicles and identifying additional repair requirements.
• Mixing paint to achieve accurate colour matches.

• Accurately recording all work and times within agreed timeframes.
• Representing the company professionally with customers.

The Role Mobile Repair Technician

As a Mobile Repair Technician, you will be responsible for completing a range of high-quality cosmetic and SMART repairs, ensuring every vehicle is returned to the customer to an excellent standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out bumper and trim repairs


• Completing plastic repairs


• Minor dent removal and cosmetic repairs


• Inspecting vehicles and identifying any additional repair requirements


• Mixing paint to achieve accurate colour matches


• Carrying out paint spraying and refinishing


• Completing SMART and cosmetic repairs to a high standard

• Maintaining a professional approach when dealing with customers and representing the company

About You

We are looking for an experienced SMART Repair Technician, Mobile Repair Technician, Cosmetic Repair Technician or Paint Sprayer with a strong Bodyshop background.

You will ideally have:

• Proven experience within SMART Repair, Cosmetic Repair or Bodyshop Paint Spraying


• Strong plastic repair experience - essential


• Experience carrying out bumper, trim and minor cosmetic repairs


• Strong paint preparation, colour matching and spraying skills


• Excellent attention to detail


• A genuine commitment to producing high-quality repairs


• A professional and customer-focused approach


• A good work ethic and the ability to work independently


• A full UK driving licence
